Pretty clear what Petrov thinks the bottom arm should do after completing the takeoff...good summary at 52:00

Is it just me or does Petrov "thank" Alan/Altius for writing BTB and expressing his/Pterov's view of the pole vault? That is interesting :idea: .

"Transfer of energy from the take off through the left hand"

am this correct?

This would suggest that in finishing the take off, before you swing, it is allowable to keep pressure with the left (bottom) hand while allowing it to bend up to 90 degrees.
