Umm actually my sources are really close, at reno I just asked Hartwig himself. I asked him if he felt he had the ability to go 20 foot ever, he said he knows he does. He said hes already done it when he had a few good days of practice. Then again he could be lying about himself but when you go 19'9 numerous times, 20 in practice isnt far off.

Well I just got back from his house and he verified that he didn't. He does know he can do it and I've seen him come really close to it a few times. Sorry for the mix up. Lon

If there was a mix up, sorry about that, I dont want to send out any false info. Yeah, make sure deffinently. And if he hasnt then my bad, but when I talked to him I was under the impression that he said that he had. If he hasnt then dissregard what I said. If not 20 feet then what is his all time best height in practice?

I'm sure he won't mind, him jumping 20 feet is our hope of taking the spotlight back from the girls. Have fun in the heat. LON

Lon- just curious, what is your all time PR, and how old are you, still in college? If not what is your all time goal?

Lojo has been promising 21 feet for 6 years now.....wont happen. I thought Tye Harvey had a shot a couple years ago, although I dont know his status as of know. Jeff is probably the best shot for americans right now, although the age factor is bound to bite him pretty soon. Overseas, Averbukh was looking damn good, Markov could always give it a run, And dont count out ecker, that guys is good when he is healthy. Feofanova will jump 16.

Women would be the goal. HA HA

At ASU I coach both women and men in PV, long jump, high jump, triple jump, and multis.
