Her performance should definitely peak PERFECTLY at Beijing. 5.05, 5.06? Unless she gets hurt or the conditions are horrible, there's little doubt in my mind there's going to be ANOTHER new WR for her in Beijing.

I thought she looked better when she cleared 5.03.

Nine jumps with misses at every height... yeah, I don't think she looked quite as sharp today either.

I really wish Jenn & Isi had faced off more than once in the run-up to Beijing. I think it would've done them both good. Lena says she doesn't pay attention to what the other gals are doing, but her best shot at 5.04 in London didn't come until after Jenn went out. And Jenn's attempts in London seemed to me like they had kind of a "desperate" vibe to 'em. So I think we'd get a better competition next month if they'd met a few more times. I'm a little worried that we'll see them both passing from 4.75 to 5.05, both missing, and Monika Pyrek taking the gold at 4.70 on countback. :dazed:
