Nike TJ/PV

Unread postby ACvault » Thu Feb 16, 2006 7:30 pm

Has anyone here ever used or is currently using the Nike TJ/PV spikes. My coach told me to its time to get a pair of specific spikes and these are at a good price at 29.99. Comments?

I have used this spike...actually they were my first pair. I would recommend them...I haven't tried on a great variety of spike brands, but I found that these are great for pv and getting you up on your toes. No complaints here, although I find that they can wear out somewhat quickly.

A good spike as my son has had 3 pairs of that style BUT every pair has split on the sole plate. Nike will guarantee them but it is a hastle to send them in. The new p/v light spikes are the ones that he likes best and I believe thay have lasted longer than the black and red spikes that we have had in the past.

If I remember correctly, the TJ/PV spike fits a half size small so if you're a 10, get a 10.5. The PV Lite fits correctly.

stupid question, but are these plastic or rubber bottoms? It looks like plastic to me, not sure. I was wondering because this means i'll need a different pair for indoor next year if I get these. (tracks here only allow rubber in indoor)
