I came across a post with this link a while ago. Its been bumped down so much I can't find it anymore so I am posting it: http://ryanf.topcities.com/ Its a pole trader site basically, being run by a HS kid that made it for a class in school. Its a serious site and I hope everyone can contribute in making this site a success because its an awesome idea.

Went to camp with me. Used to call him the catapole boy cuz his first pole that he owned was a clearance catapole (the org kind) that he got for $50 hehe

He's moved on since then. He just recently broke a Spirit pole... dope... pole breaking suxors when its your favorite!

My site.

Thanks for the support guys and gals. And BrandoAZ.. that training pole is the first pole I sold on my site. I also got a new pole and am pretty sure I can evenly beat you now, you pole hugging hippie.

We're having some trouble growing because no one wants to sell poles right now (middle of season), but lots of people are looking for stuff. If you have anything related to pole vaulting, I'll put it on there and get it sold for you.

I plan on registering with godaddy.com soon to make the site also work with polepeddlers.com, but for now its http://ryanf.topcities.com. Plan on having 4 different shirts with different vaulters and the listed below quotes made up soon, too.

If you all would, please sign my message book and tell me what you think, and if you have any suggestions, e-mail me from the site.

1. Pole Vault: Put the pole in the hole and penetrate the pit.
2. In most states its illegal to get this high!
3. Your local pole vaulter: Getting High On Fiberglass.
4. Non-Vaulters Remember: Chicks dig- big sticks.

You better watch out.. you better ask why.. cuz santa clause is bringing me a new pole too. Be afraid be very afraid. I'm even getting a new pole. Kinda overbent that 176 and that gave me some major lift. I try to stay away from that 13' skypole since Im kinda overweight for it. The Pius meet I couldnt handle it... so we will see ;)

The pole Im getting is a 13'7" 182.. so same length but getting a lower flex number which increases the weight. What kind are you getting? My highest arch caught on video tape was about 14' with the new pole I'd showed you that one day. But I havent gotten standards right at a meet and I keep either coming short and wussing out or I go totally over it and rub the entire front of my body accross it :(

Are you game for a UGA track club if there arnt meets this summer? Its $50 the first visit to join and $20 each time after that and its on weekends. All you ahve to be is 50 miles from UGA and I think you are closer than I am. I figure you offer me a bit more of a challange than Bill and you have more Vaulting spirit which makes it more fun competing against you :)

You plan to vault during college? Ive been really hot to with all my new pole adrenaline so we will see. Maybe we will compete together in next years VT last chance or something :)

Well, now that school is over and graduation and my brother's wedding is done, I have the free time to take care of a lot of things for the site. Hopefully within the next month they should be ready. I just have to find someone to do the art and I'm set beacuse a friend of mine works for a T-shirt printing company. I'll keep everyone posted.

more t-shirt logos:
some people like the penetration with a stiffer pole
(this one is real stupid) Was the pole vault discovered accidentally by a clumsy javelin thrower?
Pole Vault - A vault where poles hid from Hitler (get it? cheesy...yeah, i know)
I used to have more, but I just remembered the file saved on my computer is gone b/c we just got a nw one, sorry. But I wanna buy a shirt so tell everyone when they are for sale. Or how about buy a pole get a free shirt? ;)

Can't give free shirts or I'll lose a lot of money, but buy a pole get a T-shirt at discount may very well be an option. I'll have to weigh this....

Some Updates

First off, for the billionth time shirts are in. In conjunction with this, I have reviewed the situation, and I'll give 50% off the purchase of a shirt with the purchase of a pole from the trading boards.

Second, after about two months of toying to fix html and java code, transferring files, and some soon to be done revitalization of our site appearance, we are finlly making the officail launch of PolePeddlers.com!
http://www.polepeddlers.com

Third, if anyone visiting the site finds any images that don't pop up, or a broken link, please report it to me and I will fix it immediately. Some things will soon be more asthetically pleasing such as the guestbook and sidebar.

Fourth, A contest! I'm looking for a design to use as the polepeddlers logo. The on used currently was made in haste and is rather terrible. If you like to try your hand at designing one and submitting it, the winning designer will receive a FREE T-Shirt, their logo will be used pending permission with credit given on the page, and if they have a personal page for design or whatnot, a link will be established as well. So get designing!

Good luck, and as always, we appreciate your support.
