I had to punch in "Other" on the pole catergory, there was no spot for Catapult!
And yes, I'm serious. The black cats may be as old as I am, (29), but the good ones still pack a bit of a punch. Their easy on take-off, have a smooth ride throughout the jump, and it's really easy to see any dings.
Oh yeah, added bonus... For an out of college, poor vaulter like me, their pretty easy to dig up in school garages and storage sheds, and coaches sometimes let them go for cheap in favor of the newer, higher tech models!
Vault On!
Maybe I wasn't supposed to eat those paint chips?

Gee I wonder if it will be the Carbon FX - Spirit - an old black cat - a Rocket - a Big Stick - lets see - Bruce/Essex - wonder what he will say - or maybe some marketing prop for a pole his company manufacturers - if he can show me facts/engineering/physical data - otherwise it is just hype - if at the end of the year all the top vaulters - men and women switch to it - maybe you have something -

hmm....best poles...well, i've only used i think 4 different types...but so far, i think i like the skypoles the best...i would say i like the essx, but the one i used was the wrong height and weight, so i can't really say...lol...and my LEAST favorite pole, the pacer MsStic (sp? i don't really remember)...its a older one, but i still don't like it...
oh and a question...anyone seen those poles with the purple and yellow spiral wrapping on them? what brand are those? just curious...

Its probably the pole they paid some ex employee from Pacer some money for the plans. OPPS, I guess I shouldn't say stuff like that. You guys are rediculas. Keep that kind of cheap promotional stuff for some convention or something. LB
