Looking for ideas: Using volleyball standards to make pole vault standards?

Unread postby austin_tman » Thu Jun 02, 2016 5:20 pm

I have a backyard pit but cannot afford to purchase standards. I am trying to figure out how to build my own. I have some portable volleyball standards that are about 9 feet tall or so. Would it be possible to make pole vault standards out of these? I am looking for any ideas or suggestions.

Were are you located at? You can make some using perforated galvonized steel.
