having difficulty finding a new pole.

Unread postby willluksic » Wed Apr 15, 2015 7:01 pm

Hey, im a senior in high school and I've been stuck on the same pole since my sophomore year. I've been vaulting 11' in meets consistently since my junior year. I've gotten 11'6" a couple of times. I've been using a 12' 130 lb spyker and I think im at my limit with it. I've been trying to use this 13' 145 lb ucs, I think it is, and it hasn't been going well for me. I weigh about 135. I know I've been lying about my weight, but I can't jump with any other pole. What my question is is if I should keep trying to get on the 13' 145 lb, or if I should to try to find a 135/140 lb pole that's 12'6" or 13'. I could either try to find a pole from another school, or I could rent a pole from a local pole vault place called vertical assault. Any reply helps, thank you!
