How to make a cart for top-end drill

Unread postby OlyVault » Mon Mar 09, 2015 9:21 am

Hi guys, I'm not sure if any of you have ever done/seen the push off drill where you lay on a cart and simulate your top end, but I was wondering if anyone knew what materials you would need to make the cart.

I know you can probably buy one, but it doesn't look too hard to make one, and it's probably cheaper to make on your own. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Here's a video of the drill if you don't understand what I mean. Go to 1:16 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq3Y5PmoXbA

I've seen alot of Furniture Dollies being used with a gymnastic mat drilled into it. Dolly could be found here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-10 ... /100057209

I've made something similar for my vaulters but used a 3ft piece of a plastic playground slide that allows them to rotate around the pole more than what you can do on a flat surface. Built a sub frame out of 2x4s and mounted 6 shopping kart wheels.

Hope this helps!
