Hey, I'm interested in buying some old blue Skypoles. Anybody have any for sale? Esp. 14-135 - 14-155.

Dick Henry was down at our all commers meet today and we were talking about having a retro meet. I've got 3-4 triangluar metal crossbars and he has 3 steel poles(one of them is a 14 footer I believe :dazed: ) anyone in?

would you be jumping into sand or sawdust for this retro meet or would you be taking the easy way out with the current foam rubber. also, would you use a synthetic runway or cinders.

Jeff is a tough old guy..........but I am guessing his body wouldnt hold up from 13' into sawdust. Ok maybe one jump and a trip to the doc..........but that would be it.

The CNW All-Comers Retro Meet is in 2 weeks (I'll just miss it :( ). Bill Roe said the insurance policy will not cover bamboo poles, but steel would be OK :P

They'll still use foam pits and synthetic runway... but we can set the bar in feet at inches instead of meters ;) haha

Steel pole retro meet? Damn wish I didn't live so far away Rob, I'd be in for sure. (Even if it was landing in sawdust, I suspect a decent chiropractor might not be so far away.) ;)
Retro all the way!
Maybe I wasn't supposed to eat those paint chips?
