Nike Zoom PV II 2013 vs 2014

I am in the market for new pole vault spikes and i have been doing some research on which ones i should get. Is there any difference between the Nike Zoom PV II 2013 (Black/grey/yellow) and the Nike Zoom PV II 2014 (black/black/pink), besides the color and difference in prices? why are the 2014's more even though it appears to be the exact same shoe in a different color? would i be wasting my money? Im not against having a pink shoe, but if they are, as they appear to be, the same shoe in a different color I would much rather save my money and get a more appealing color to me (black and yellow). so, can someone please tell me if there is any real difference in the shoe or if it is purely a cosmetic change from lat years to this years?
