Gill Flex Rating

Unread postby Skyfly » Tue Nov 26, 2013 2:48 am

I know that older Gill poles, especially shorter ones, can have weight labels that are about overweight for what the modern equivalent. The best flex chart that gill sends with its poles has a date listed of prior to 1998. In doing some research on PVP though it seems that another change was made in 2003 as well. I have a number of Mystics that were made between 2000 and 2002. Just out of curiosity, if I have a 12'0 130 27.2 flex, what would be the approximate flex rating that would get on the modern scale? Would it still likely be a 130, or could that possibly be different as well? Thanks.
