Swing Up Invert Trainer

Unread postby Skyfly » Thu Feb 07, 2013 10:19 pm

Has anyone used this training device? http://www.swingupinvert.com/product_list.htm

Opinions? Would it be a worthwhile investment for my high school program?

I think most HS programs would be better off building a high bar, and using the cost savings to invest in more poles. And a copy of the book From Beginner to Bubka, of course ;)

We've got the bar, poles, and book covered.

I have a couple kids that are great athletes, have the strength, and really good swings. They are just having trouble completing the full invert. Figured I'd at least see if any vaulters have found this device to be useful at all.

I do believe that Liberty University has one mounted to a column beside their pit.

Probably the best vault simulator I've come across. I'm not sure how well beginners will be able to use it, but for intermediate to advanced athletes I think it is very good.
