Does anyone have a link or suggestion on how to build a set of high bars? Seems like an easy project I'm just not sure how to make the bar so it wouldn't turn round when being used.

Here's how I built mine:
1. Dig two appropriately spaced (taking the length of the bar into account) circular holes about 2' deep and 1' wide.
2. Create joints for the bar (mine is about 3'6" of SANDED black iron piping) and beams (I had two "T" pieces welded and drilled holes through the top part)
3. Attach the bar to ONE of the beams
4. Erect two 11' tall 6"x6" steel beams in the two holes as close to perfectly vertically as possible and pour in concrete/cement (one at a time, beam with bar first).
5. Connect the bar to the second beam
6. Fill the beams with sand for added stability (and add caps to prevent rain from getting in)

(I got all my supplies/services for free, but you could build something extremely similar without the welds for under $50 I'm sure... Ask around for supplies!)

Fill the beams with Read-Mix CONCRETE for even better stability (sand and cement only - no gravel).
