wieghted equiptment messing with physics

ok so now i dont think that there would be a problem with say wieghted vests and shorts for high bar drills but my question lies with, if i use the wieghted equiptment for actual vaulting on poles would this be benificial or would it just make me bump up on pole wieght and be slow on into everything on the actual vault. im thinking it would be wiser to stick with wieghted equiptment for pole runs, sprint work and high bar drills..... pretty much anything but vaulting. also when it comes to wieghted shoes for high bar drills it, would it be benificial to wear them or even though it would initially give more resistance going into the swing, would the resulting intertia that would help carry my body through into the bubka from a swing up be cancelling out that initial resistance pretty much wasting my time?
