I spent an hour last Sunday watching track on TV hoping to see some pole vaulting. It seems like they only show the running events and the highlights of high jump and throwing. What gives?

Which meet was it, Boston Indoor Games?

If it was, they did not have a pole vault competition at that meet.

It was the Boston Indoor Games. Still, I have never seen pole vault on TV with the exception of the finals in the olympics.

I don't know how much pole vault you'll
get to see, but tonight on ESPN2 is the
Millrose Games in NYC from this past Friday.

(6:30-8:30) I don't know if your pole vault
loyalties override the superbowl football
loyalties. :)

yeah i didnt see anything either. How do they decide what to show? events where world champions are running or the most entertaining or wut? Cuz i think that if they were just going for the most entertaining pole vault wins by far.
