Beware of Mr. Scary Rubber, a.k.a the bungie bar... he builds up your confidence too much! Just earlier I cleared Mr. Scary Rubber while he was chillen up at 14ft... and I tried 13ft with the normal bar and blew :-\ so...

Confidence is good though. If you don't think you can clear a height you won't. Besides now you know you can do it.

haha...our guy vaulter broke the bungee once, and it snapped back to hit his ear, and i think it made him bleed....another reason to beware

I see guys straddle the bungee all the time, one of them even broke it!! haha

I've straddled the bar before... OUCH!!!!!! It was at like 9ft and I was just showing some of our girls some stuff having to do with the swing and rockback and I kinda got lazy lol.

This is kinda off your subject, but once i tripped running down the runway, and got turned around so that i was sitting in the plant box. Then, i pulled my pole towards me and the bar fell and hit me right on the head. This was in an actual meet, and lucky for me, i have it on video!!
