I heard a rumor that another vaulter somewhere back east was seriously injured during a practice. Can anyone confirm this report. Or did my friend just make it up. :eek:

I haven't heard anything about that. Where did he hear it from?

It is possible, but this is kind of an offtime for pole vaulting. At the college level, half the schools are not back yet, and those that are, most of them are not vaulting yet. High schools are busy with fall sports. Really right now the main people vaulting are at clubs.
