World records on brands.............This is per brand and does not take into account who owened them at the time........this is my best guess after consulting many other experts many of whom are a former WR holder or were there when the WR was set. It is not 100% accurate but IS close. This is only on fiberglass, no bamboo, steel etc. These are per record not per athlete ie bubka is the only man to set a world record on a Spirit pole...........19 of them in all.
MEN
Pacer/Carbon/Skypole - 44 outdoor 48 indoor
Spirit - 10 outdoor 9 indoor
CATaPOLE - 7 outdoor 9 indoor
WOMEN
Pacer/Mystic - 15 outdoor 25 indoor
Spirit - 28 outdoor 32 indoor
Other - 15

In my opinion you ought to split up that top group

Skypole, Pacer III, and modern Pacer/Carbon/Skypole

Your killin me here.............my goal was to dispel the rumor that Spirit had the most world records. I had a tough enough time sorting out the brands.............not to mention that the shift in finished production is tougher to track. Just because you know me now does not mean I am your whipping post
Cut me some slack for actually researching a post about history. Not just making unfounded claims.

No offense, but lumping records made on the pre-Gill Skypoles to records made on Carbons, or even Pacer IIIs, is kinda silly. Skypoles nowadays are totally different, and you won't see too many world records made on those!
Props for doing some research though

The best poles ever were the Pacer III designed Spirits that Bubka jumped on, not the real Spirits. So I guess that would imply that Pacer III's were the best poles ever?
Hmmmmm...
