 What are some of the weird or quirky things you do to prepare for competitions? (i.e. warm-ups, unifrom or anything you think is completly unique)

I like to drink Hawaiian Punch, before or during. Other than that, I'm so worried about warming up, (I have a certain set of warm-ups I do if that counts) that I don't think about a ritual. I can't have one because then I get screwed up mentally, like if I do bad I'd be thinking, now was it because of that pair of socks??

Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

well i have caught some flak for this one, evey time i step on the run way i raise the pole as if i were planting it with just my right hand and with my left hand extended up in the air i open and close my hand repeatedly (looks like i am waving ) thats my thing.

I used to jump without any twpe on the pole and just use stick um. so I would spray the pole at the end of the runway and twiat the pole in my hand until the squeak it made was just the right pitch from becoming sticky. That kind of always settled me into the right mind frame.
