Can wait in Illinois. It's a new rule for high schools this Track season. Bought mine last season to get my seniors used to it. No problems so for. Wish I could have spent the $600 on poles.

I spoke with Becky Oakes, and as far as the NFHS is concerned, any collar that claims to meet the ASTM standard is fine. If a manufacturer is being dishonest about meeting the standard, that's on them in a lawsuit, not the school or the NFHS. So either the UCS or Gill box collar is acceptable.
