Wrist injurries

Unread postby Wrhicks13 » Wed Sep 12, 2012 9:15 pm

My cousin is the male state champion in Alabama for 2012. Over the last season the way he vaulted caused the pole to collide with his wrist. He now has bone chips floating in his wrist. Any recommendations to prevent this happening to me?

Wear padding so that the contact between the wrist and the pole is not so hard on the bones.

Do you have any video of him vaulting? Did he ever break a pole?
