1932 Los Angeles Olympic PV Finals

Unread postby KirkB » Sun Sep 28, 2008 1:06 am

The film above is from the 1932 Olympics in the Los Angeles Coliseum. You will recognize the Coliseum if you've ever been there.

There was 8 competitors, who placed in this order:

1. William Miller (USA) 4.31,5*
2. Shuhei Nishida (Japan) 4.30
3. George Jefferson (USA) 4.20
4. William Graber (USA) 4.15
5. Shizuo Mochizuki (Japan) 4.00
6. Lucio Prado De Castro (Brazil) 3.90
7. Petros Chlentzos (Greece) 3.75
- Carlos Nelli (Brazil) NH

It will be easier to follow the compeition by knowing the heights attempted and made. I'm sorry, I don't know the vaulting order.
