Steel poled eleven six saturday! Lots of fun!
Maybe I wasn't supposed to eat those paint chips?

Cool! How long was your steel pole? My coach as a 12 foot one :)

I had a sweedish steel pole (still there). Had a steel tip welded onto the end, talk about some noise at the plant. It was 16' long and would "bend" - "flex" a little.

It would take a better man than I to hold on the end of a 16' steel pole and expect to land anywhere other than back on the run way.
