Jared Mecham's Pole Vault Eagle Project

Unread postby Mecham » Thu Apr 13, 2006 4:56 pm

Hey everyone,
The title for this message probably told you what I am doing. I am working advancing to an Eagle in the Scouting program. For my Eagle project I am building Pole Vaulting Platforms. The thing is, I cannot pay for anything myself. Everything that I use must be donated some how, whether money donations or product donations. I am in need of your help. Please visit this website: www.jaredmecham.com/jaredeagle.html to make a donation. I know that a lot of you guys make donations for this website, but Im asking for your help with this project. Again if you go to the website you will be able to read about what I am building and you will see that you can make donations.

You guys are the best!!!!

Thank you for everything

Sorry I didnt respond earlier, I was at an all day track meet. These platforms stack together, about 5 ft. high. They are placed in front of the pit, and basically it is an elevated runway. It isnt for jumping hieght, but working on technique. AWESOME drills. and they can be used for short approach indoor runways.

If you view the page, the total estimated cost will be around 400$. So far I have raised about 200$. Half way there! Thank you guys for all that you have done!! Again, if you would like to donate, you can e-mail me, or use pay-pal on the website. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.

If you can't access the web page, I can post the information here so it is easier to view. What do you guys think?

I can access it, but I think that it would be a good idea for you to just give a summarized version on here. If it creates an interest in the reader, then they are more likely to click the link and fund the second half.
