Intensity down under

Unread postby MLfanclub » Fri Sep 20, 2002 8:03 pm

Sampras is definitely riding high with confidence after his amazing play at the US Open, but does he have what it takes to capture the Open in australia? some people question his physical fitness, which leaves him suspect to early whilting under the heat, but I think his talent and experience step up huge in the grand slams. hewitt, agassi, and safin loom just behind, each hungry for the championship as well. maybe we'll see some big play from the young americans roddick and blake? what are your thoughts?

The closest thing I got to tennis was my first year of college our coach would throw tennis balls at us as we came down the runway to see if he could break our concentration

a good use for tennis balls ey? I think I'm going to test your concentration just like robert's coach did, but instead of throwing them I'll be practicing my forehand ground stroke. once I hit you and snarl your concentration, you'll owe me a milkshake, because if you peg someone in tennis you get a milkshake! just like the time you were milkshaked (yes I just turned "milkshake" into a verb) by one of my serves! haha.

also, if anyone else wants tennis-ball concentration conditioning feel free to ask.

Haha his thumbs were hurting after digging so hard into my back.

And Vinh I have had knots since I was a sophomore in high school, so you are always welcome to work on them! :) I don't think I have had anyone work on them as good as you since this summer... although there is someone that was close a few days ago ;)
