I figured anyone could put a post up about what happened this day in history. Not just today, but whenever today may be!

October 27, 2004 - Red Sox will win the World Series, breaking the curse and win since 1918. (They win under the reddish lunar eclipse that occurs during that time).

fix me if i'm wrong ... :D

On this day, in continuation to blaze's post, the Red Sox WON the world series for the first time since 1918. 86 years of a drought are gone and the curse is broken. A FULL lunar eclipse occuredduring this amazing day.

I certainly hope not, although it could burst someone's bubble if the Red Sox lose in the playoffs next year. Anyone hear Manny Ramirez' quote after he won MVP of the series? They asked him about the curse and he said, "I don't believe in curses, I believe you make your own destination." lol. I believe that as well.
