Watching Man vs. Food late in the evening, even after you have eaten more than enough for dinner, may result in unnecessary snacking. I know first hand as I was a victim last night. :dazed:

I am such a fan!!! In the summer, my boyfriend and I would run, then watch Man vs Food. I actually don't like eating that much, but the show fascinates me. He on the other hand, can eat. Watching it usually makes me want to cook, which he appreciates :)

Good stuff! That guy is passionate about his food! I'm going to check out the show's website before our next track trip and get the names of the good places to eat. All of those mom and pop diners that he visits look WAY better than the traditional chain restaurants.

I have no intentions of trying any of the food challenges though!

Why no TV! Is this a newlywed thing?

Nah, we own a television, and we had cable at the last two houses because we just bundled it with the internet, but where we live now there is no cable internet, and we decided to take a break from TV except for watching online (we're way too remote to get anything with an antennae). At the last house I got a free upgrade to a DVR and we ended up watching a lot of TV. Out here we can either buy in to the local cable co-op or get a satellite, but the break has been nice.
