Monday was my first big invitational of indoor, i was coming off of a ehh meet the week before where my steps were completely off. I was happy with what i did at the invitational, as were my coaches.

Stats for the vaults
all were from 6 lefts at around 81'
i am 6'2" 155 lbs
For the first 3 jumps were on a 14'6" pacerfx 160lb pole holding 13'6"
last 4 were on 14'6" pacerfx 165lb pole holding 13'6"
my plant was a tad under for a few of the jumps

when i was looking at the videos after the meet i wasnt happy that i was tucking with my legs and not staying long like i have been training to do, not sure why i was doing this, help is appreciated
my coaches were telling me that during my plant i was letting my hips come through before my chest, so i tried to fix that but i ended up focusing so much on that, i got lazy with my top end

any feedback is greatly appreciated

It is physically impossible for your hips to swing to the top of the pole if you drive your hands down when you swing. As I said to you several months ago, you must stop rowing your hands down if you want to improve. Think about keeping your arms up while you swing.

Practice getting your hands higher when you plant, and continue to stretch upward as you leave the ground. Image that your plant motion continues through the vault, with your hands continually going higher. If you can get really extended while you plant and take off, you will be more elastic and less likely to row.
