Crossbar at 11"
Holding 12'3" on a 13' 140 pole
standards at 20"

HS Junior girl
This was unfortunately a final attempt at 11'. Allie's PR is 11'6". On the bright side, it looks like she has some big heights to come, on the downside, she has a hard time penetrating with the bigger sticks.
Kirk pointed out in an earlier posting how Allie lets her torso swing under on the plant, limiting her swing. She's been working on trying to keep her hips back upon takeoff but still has a way to go. Any drills or mental images to suggest?

As always, thanks.

What other poles does she have available? She's doing some good stuff!

There is a 13' 125 and a 13' 130, both of which she was blowing though.
There is a sweet carbon mystic 13' 140 that has been on order for a looong time. I think there may also be a 13' 135 coming, which might be a good transition.

The 13' 140 is what she's already stalling out on, so there's no magic there.

The 13' 135 is the in-between one that will do the trick.

But really, I don't think the 13' 140 is THAT bad, and she'll get on it very soon.

No time right now, but I'll take a closer look later at her vids in slo-mo, and let you know if I can see any particular flaw that she should focus on ... and how. My pat answer is usually to solve it on the highbar! :)

But let me look first ...

At first I thought 'slinking' like Lukyanenko... Then I looked closer and saw that she is not swinging her feet past the pole (toward the runway). Of course, it is difficult to do this when your step is under. That's the priority!
