Why women don't participate

I have listened to this piece on NPR, dealing with participation of women on discussion boards online, and believe it or not, there were several serious studies done on this subject. The conclusion is that it is too conformational and women do not operate like this, they prefer cooperation. Should we all decrease the influence of testosterone on our responses, after all, women are the the huge part of the pole vault community now!
