Petrov model

Unread postby mjb » Fri Apr 04, 2008 12:14 am

I have spent some time and have read many posts on this message board. Everyone talks very highly about the petrov model. Do we feel that the petrov model is the best model out there, or are there other models out there that are just as good. I am interested in learning more about this model, but there have been many great pole vaulters throughout the years that have been very successful using other models. Is the petrov model good for all vaulters of all levels? If we were to put a guy like Hartwig or Lobinger into the petrov model would he be a better jumper? If so why?
