practice jumps

Unread postby gary » Thu Feb 05, 2015 2:54 pm

i would like some advice on the best way to practice. should a vaulter try to clear much higher heights say a 4,20 vauter try to get his feet over 5m in practice thereby losing all form or should they be attempting a4.20 or 4.30 jump thereby completing an achieveable vault? secondly any thoughts on using a bungee vs using a real crossbar. thanks in advance!
