I strongly recommend not vaulting 5 days a week during the season :deadrose: and especially not vaulting 5 days with your school coach and 2 days with a club coach on top of that. Legs need time to recover, even for healthy young high schoolers.


I'm sorry, let me rephrase that. When the season starts we have pole vault or pole vault related work-outs 5 days a week; it isn't all vault. And also when the season starts I don't think I will practice with the other coach because I agree in that I need rest. Sorry for not specifying.

Good to hear. I know a lot of HS kids who do PV 5 days a week.
