Still not inverted

Ok. So first off. There is a difference between the L position and the V position? I have always though they were similar. But i realized today at practice from my video that my swing was probably the best its ever been with a nice straight powerfull swing. But unlike the pros i get into a V with my hands at my feet and my hips below my shoulders when the pole starts to unbend. My hips dont rise and get into an L. This L position is supposed to occur but not a V? Would this be caused by an under take off. I am gripping at 13' and taking off at 10'3". But i am short 5'4. So i think my take off should be closer to 10'9"?
