Pressure on the bottom arm

Im a right handed vaulter.
Lately I've been having a problem keeping continuous pressure on my bottom arm through out the vault. I seem to lose it just before i can get inverted but then i reapply pressure and can still do a half decent job of vaulting. Im able to do the bar, ring and other drills where this comes into play just fine with continuous pressure, but when i try to transfer it over to a pole i start having troubles. So if anyone would be able to shed some light on what to do or to give some helpful hints it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

This reason you haven't had any responses to your question is because it's all been discussed (argued) before...Happy reading! As you will learn there are two distinct schools of thought on the bottom arm. Reading these discussions will likely leave you with more questions than answers. My advice is for you to keep an open mind, and realize that your bottom arm will do different things depending on your carry, plant, and takeoff. Often you can't fix one thing without fixing everything that comes before it.

Good luck,
Tom
