my push off record is 40 inches, including the box.
i was running a shorter run at reno 3 years ago and jumped 17' 5" holding 14'9"............as far as getting inverted goes, if you can get on that right hand right off of the ground and stay on it you will get inverted without even trying. its just physics, if your weight is behind the pole, you get inverted, if your hips pass the pole it is impossable

mooski33,
this tip is for you....
..the reason you can get inverted on a straight pole is because you are not trying to bend it, which means that you are only hanging from your right hand.
now when you bend the pole, you start using your left hand and that changes your center of gravity, making it harder to get inverted.
my advice is when you first get the pole moving, try to put ALL of your weight on your right hand and see if that helps

good luck!!

but when putting ALL your weight on the right hand, do NOT try to pull up on the right hand
