christmas vaulting in chicago

does anyone know of a place in the chicagoland area to jump over christmas? i'm looking for a place to jump.

North Central College always has a vault camp

click on winter pole vault camp........the coaches are great guys and they have a solid facility

thats only for high school. that would be weird being in college jumping w/ a bunch of high schoolers

me and 2 other vaulters from my college went there last year.......i have been going to that camp for a while, so it wasn't wierd. We were the only college athletes there besides the North Central vaulters

I would love to but I can't. I promise you that you will like the atmosphere. The coaches are cool guys. One of the coaches son is a senior in HS. He went 16' 1" as a junior, He usually is hanging out there. The have a ridiculous amount of poles that you can borrow to vault on.
You could always shoot an e-mail to the coach Tim Winder and ask him about the camp. I am sure he would respond to you.

hey im a senior in high school and i am for sure going to the NCC camp it is awesome and i know there are other college kids coming, plus us high schoolers aren't that bad, lol

This camp is known for having great vaulters come through it regardless of age. The coach running the camp has a highschool son who can out jump some college guys.

i went to it..it was awesome..but yea..it was almost only high schoolers..except for the guys that went to the school. but..there was some girl that was only in 7th grade..so they do make exceptions..lol

I'm a little late with this, but for next year ... University of Chicago hosts a meet I forget what it is called and the site right now.
Also, Tim Johnson runs a pv club year round.

I jump with tim Johnson and its a small group but he's a great coach. there are a few college kids that come home for break and vault with us too so next year you should def. consider it!
