yeah i've known people like that, it gets frustrating, especially when you put in all of the hard work and dedication to better yourself, and they still come out on top. don't worry about it so much, colleges n such don't always look at your times alone, they also check your attitude and commitment as well.

thats running events tho...that is all god given talent to start with....stay with pole vaulting because it does take skill

An update on Donald Thomas:

He is now in grad school at Auburn and jumped 7-6.50 (2.30) at University of Florida today, just over a year after he first started high jumping.
