cross country goals?

anyone run cross country and have season goals? mines 21:40

My goal for this season is under 22 mins. I don't know if that's attainable (for me) or not, though...well I'll try, and that's the point of goals, isn't it? Bad start though...I ended up with shin splints after a week and a half, only in my right leg. Kinda weird.

This is my first time doing xc, and i'm a junior, so I guess you could say I'm doing it to stay in shape and increase my endurance, but setting and reaching some goals wouldn't be too bad :P

RICE your legs after you practice to prevent shin splints, even after track meets if you run mid distance. (Rest, ice, compression, elevation.)
