Men's Pole Vault 18:50 Pavlov with his third attempt at 5.25...he's fouled twice so far...he makes it! He takes the joint lead.

Men's Pole Vault 18:48 So far in the Pole, Mesnil (FRA) and Gazol (SPA) have jumped 5.25, while Lewis of GBR is third with 5.15.

Nothing terribly exciting yet. Gibilisco opens at 5.45 and makes it on his first. Latvala of Finland clears 5.45 on his first for a season best. Pavlov makes it on his first and Mesnil on his second. Several have passed, Borgeling has not come in yet.

Nobody over 5.55 yet. Gibilisco has passed. Borgeling is opening at this and has missed his first two attempts...

Still no one over... Borgeling NHs and Yurchenko is out.

I wonder if the wind took a turn for the worse?

Mesnil passed also. I think one more vaulter had one more attempt at 5.55, then the bar would go up for Gibilisco and Mesnil. Gibilisco is up on misses.
