Tilastopaja says Toby first hit 5.70 in 2000 and then in 2004 he hit 5.80... and 90 and 6.00m!

For Doug they list him at 5.77 in 1986 (the first year they have data on him) and 5.80 in 1992, but take that with a big grain of salt, since his career predates tilastopaja, I am not sure how much data they have in the system from those years. Maybe someone from that era can give more insight. Or I guess I could just ask him on Facebook.

Doug says it took him 6 years 4 months to go from 5.77 to 5.80. Perseverance!
