I hope my personal favorite, Melker Svärd Jakobsson is ready. He had a mishap a few weeks ago, at Hässleholm GP. Immensely talented.

My personal favorite had these comments (translation from http://friidrott.se):
In over a month has Melker Svärd Jacobsson not been able to jump because of a sprained ankle. He is extremely relieved after having conquered the silver medal in the pole vault final at the Youth World Championships.
- The first three weeks I could not jog at all. The last week I could run two or three times. But when I tried to jump, it wasn't working, says Melker, who had to deal with stability exercises for his feet.
- Then did it not work at all in the warmup jumps.
With back pain after having forced the body to jump for the first time in a long time he could see how three-quarters of the twelve-man finals field disappeared already at 4.95. Melker went in last of all, at 5:05.
- I usually go into the competition at these heights, nice that so many had gone out.
- First jump, I came too close, but did it anyway, and it secured a medal.
On the next height, 5.15, went next competitor out, and Melker that survived the second attempt, was in the lead.
- My takeoff was improving, but I did not have much energy left, explains Melker standing over 5:20, and then failed all three attempts at 5:25, which would be victorious outcome for the Slovenian Renner (Jacob Blankenship, USA, took the bronze).
- Normally, I would be disappointed to take a beating from him, but now I'm really not. I'm very happy with my jumping!
