The complete videos of both the qualifying and final rounds of the women's pole vault are now posted on NBC's website. And by complete, I mean every attempt by every competitor. So the qualifying round video is almost 3 hours in length, and the finals even longer than that. There's no commentary (which I regard as a bonus), but ample screen graphics so you know who is vaulting etc. Plus they show replays from various angles of most vaults. You'll need the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in to view the videos, but it's pretty painless (and I say that as a Mac user and Microsoft-hater). Older Macs may have issues with it though.

Can't Quicktime Pro record motion video off a screen?

As of now, I don't now if it will work because I haven't tried this idea yet. Apparently you don't need to download Microsoft Silverlight to play the videos on NBC. There is an option to play the video using Windows Media Player. You will also need an up to date version of RealPlayer with the in-browser download feature enabled. Follow the links provided by DistanceRunner. Play the video with the windows media player option. You MAY see a button pop up that says Download with RealPlayer. I'll try unistalling Silverlight and giving it a whirl

I just got around to testing this theory out. It works, but only if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer. In Mozilla Firefox, you don't have a choice but to install Silverlight.
