Monte Carlo – Continuing its recent website developments and as part of its lead-in to the 12th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Valencia, the IAAF will introduce a new interactive tool with two Athletes’ Live Chats on Wednesday 5 March. These on-line chats will give athletics fans the unique chance to submit their questions directly to stars of our sport.

World record holder and defending Pole Vault champion Yelena Isinbayeva will be the first athlete to take part in this project and will be available to answer fans’ questions from all over the world on 5 March from 3 to 3.30pm (CET).

The two-time World Athlete of the Year who recently raised her own Indoor standard to 4.95m is expected to be one of the protagonists at the upcoming World Indoor Championships and it will be interesting to chat with her a mere 48 hours before her event takes place.

I thought one of her more interesting comments was that she sleeps 2 hours in the afternoon and 9 hours at night.

I am sure most people here would do well to get more sleep!

Yeah, I thought that was pretty shocking. I probably average about 61/2 hours per night, so over the course of a week, I get more than a full day of conciousness that she doesn't.

Kind'a makes me wish I was able to accomplish more with all that extra time. :o
