I like his comment about how high he would jump if he picked up a pole today....

550? dont think quite that high. I mean its been 13 years since his peak and he's saying he can still go 18 feet?

I've always wanted to see him make a comeback and after that statement, i think he should.... :yes:

Pat Manson has been over 5.50 for over 20 straight years..it isn't much of a stretch to think that the world record holder could get out there and jump it....5.50 was pretty busch league to him

5.50 is over two feet under his PR. I would think that would be feasible...

It would be pretty sweet to see. Maybe someone could get him out of retirement for a Euro meet with a nice appearance fee?
