two hours ahead here, but I definately will be up. Right now I'm debating whether or not to watch the Dec. PV in 15 minutes. I've caught most of the Dec already...hmmmm...not sure if I have enough coffee.

I'm watching the decathletes jump. I'm amazed at the vaulting quality of some of these athletes. Wish I could jump that well. :P

Didn't see this coming, but just saw Brad's new doo...dark hair, with a lightning bolt shaved on the side!

Lukyanenko and Pavlov miss. Hooker and Walker make easily. They have shown all the jumps so far!

19:34 : The men's pole vault final is underway now, opening at 5.51m and then raising the bar to 5.66m, 5.76m, 5.81m, 5.86m, and 5.91m if necessary. So far, Ecker and Hooker have cleared 5.51m on their first attempts; Averbukh and Mesnil have passed.

Mazurryk has a mean mullet!

It apparently helps him clear 551 :)

19:36 : We're very close to a full house in Nagai Stadium tonight, and fans are still arriving.
19:37 : Walker and Mazuryk have clearances at 5.51m now as well.
