POLE vault might be a sport only a few Filipinos care about, but given proper exposure and support, it could be a great source of pride and honor for the country in the international arena.
This is what the people behind the Pole Vault Festival believe as they try to create public awareness for the sport, with or without financial support from the government.
“Our main objective is to stir public awareness and promote the development of pole vault in the grassroots level. We’re certain that if given proper exposure and support, we can excel globally,â€Â
