The gals are still warming up, although the announcer didn't seem to realize that.

FEOFANOVA Svetlana (RUS) - 4.74
ROGOWSKA Anna (POL) - 4.72
HINGST Caroline (GER) - 4.70
POLNOVA Tatyana (RUS) - 4.62
BOSLAK Vanessa (FRA) - 4.60

PIWOWARSKA Joanna (POL) - 4.45

Hmmm. It seems like there are French commercials interrupting the broadcast, but WCSN doesn't want to show them, and just cuts away to some "hold music" every ten minutes or so.

At 3:35pm EST they've jsut started the wPV at 3.90m.

At 3:45 the bar's gone to 4.21 - Agirre and Boslak (at least) have cleared on their 1st tries, while Polnova missed.

Amelie Delzenne got over on her 2nd attempt. Now Polnova did too.

At 3:57 we just saw Agirre miss at 4.31, and Murer make it.

Now Polnova and Rogowska are over 4.31.

At 4:06 Delzenne has a third miss at 4.31.

The results page is getting the track results up right away, but there's nothing for the field events while they're in progress.

4:15 and we just saw Agirre's first miss at 4.41, but Murer made it. Then Polnova missed, and pretty much landed in the box. She appears unhurt though.

Lotsa height for Boslak's first attempt, but insufficient penetration.

Now a good second attempt clearance at 4.41 for Polnova.

Boslak goes over too.

At 4:27 Feofanova takes it down in a big way, at 4.46 now.

Polnova clears 4.46 on her first.

[Jeeze louise, have any of the sprints gone off with out a false start?]

Murer misses her first try at 4.46m.

At 4:38 pm Boslak goes over 4.51 on her first attempt.

Now Polnova clears it on her second attempt, although I think she hit it a little with her wrist on the way down.

At the rate the other events are going, I'm starting to worry that the coverage is going to end before the wPV.

Rogowska clears 4.51 on her third try. And what the heck happened to Feofanova?!?

Boslak is out now.

Murer goes over 4.56 on her first, and they're saying it's yet another South American record from her! :star: :rose:

Well I see Isi's warming up now. I suppose she'll start at 4.61.

It's 4:58 pm and Rogowska just missed. Not sure if it was 4.61 yet or not.

Dang ... I had to take a phone call for work, so I only halfway caught Murer's third attempt clearance at 4.61. :o I guess that must be a new South American record too. :D

Evidently I was wrong about Isi starting at 4.61. Maybe 4.66 then.

The announcer just said Isi blew her opener at 4.66, but they haven't shown it.

Now Murer just got over 4.66!!! Oooo ... real competition?

Okay, at 5:19 pm Isinbayeva get's legal with a second attempt clearance at 4.66. :)

Boslak gets a second miss.

Is Rogowska still in? We haven't seen her in awhile, have we? And where did Feofanova go?!? We saw one miss from her, and that's it?

Boslak is out now with a third miss at 4.66.

Back from commercial now, and Murer bailed out on her first shot at 4.71 (nice handspring though).

Murer bails out on her second attempt at 4.71 ... so I assume Isi passed to 4.76.

Now back to commercial. I sure hope we get to see the end of this meet.

Crud ... yet another work-related interruption. I got to see all Isi's failures above 4.66, but I missed her 4.81 clearance, and now it's another four months before her next competition. :crying: :o ;)

On the bright side, at least the webcast did stay all the way 'till the end.

Okay, here's the X's and O's:
