DONETSK, Ukraine: Yelena Isinbayeva broke her own indoor world record in the women's pole vault Saturday, clearing 4.93 meters at the "Pole Vault Stars" event.
The 24-year-old Olympic and world champion bettered her previous record of 4.91 meters, set at this event last year.
Isinbayeva, who also holds the outdoor record of 5.01 meters set at the 2005 world championships, cleared the height on her third attempt.
It was the Russian's 20th world record.
